We hit a snag with our sweet potato crop last year; a blocked drain in the garden bed caused the bed to become water logged and the crop was spoiled. An afternoon’s work fixed the problem, we tried again this year and voila! – the largest sweet potato we’ve grown yet. Fresh out of the ground & roasted it was delicious !
