The Como West Community Garden would like to bid a fondt farewell to the long standing occupants and custodians of the Guide Hall. The Guides erected the Guide Hall over 60 years ago and the building remains a testament to a bygone era.

We are humbled that, after so long, the Guides have entrusted us with the safe keeping of this Como West landmark .

It’s been a long 3 years since our first discussions with the Guides and Sydney Water, who own the land. What began as a dream of working cooperatively with the Guides has evolved to encompass responsibilities, not only in relation to the grounds but the Hall itself. We want to thank you all for your continued support as we renegotiated leases and coordinated the handover of the Hall. Unfortunately we were not able to work on site during this period.

Our vision hasn’t changed, the CW Community Garden is committed to establishing fabulous editable and native gardens along with providing some TLC to the Guide Hall to ensure it continues to stand for another 60 years.
